Therapy sessions can be carried out face to face or online. Online sessions are carried out via Zoom. All you need is a laptop or iPad, a good internet connection, a room where you won’t be disturbed and a comfortable place to sit or lie down.

Stopping smoking is a single one off session.
Session fees can be paid by cash or bank transfer.
The Initial Consultation will take 50 minutes. The first part of this consultation provides an opportunity for me to take some details from you and to find out what you would like the hypnotherapy to help you with. In the second part of the consultation, I will explain how the brain works in relation to your particular issue and how therapy can help to make the changes you want to make. I will also explain the process of hypnosis which is very gentle and relaxing and give you a MP3 link or CD for my relaxation track which will help the process. (There is no hypnosis in the Initial Consultation.)
Subsequent sessions also last for 50 minutes. I will begin by reviewing positive thoughts since your last session and talk to you about how the mind can help us (and prevent us) in making positive changes in our lives. Next, I move on to a series of solution orientated questions specially designed to promote a positive response which will help you to identify a preferred future and make small, positive achievable changes towards it. The session ends with hypnosis which can be deeply relaxing and enables your mind to focus on the things you want to change in your life.
I use CORP with your agreement. This is the CPHT Outcomes and Research Programme which helps me track your progress throughout your therapy.
These generally take 4 sessions including the initial consultation. I use the Rewind technique and conclude with a reframe or visualisation session.
Smoking cessation session is one session which lasts up to two hours including the initial consultation. Your full commitment is essential and willpower is required.

Hypnotherapy is effective however success is not guaranteed. You will need to be fully committed and be willing to take part in the process. Listening to my relaxation track before you go to sleep at night between sessions is a vital element in the process. I will fully explain its importance in the initial consultation.
